Should I take this job?

I have a job interview coming up, but a little worried about if I should even attend. Im currently employed making about 40k, about 10 mins from home. The interview is with the state making about 2k less a year, but with tuition istance..my current job doesnt have that. Im nervous about aculating all of these student loans. The job is also about 40 mins away from where I live. Also, the state job has every holiday off imaginable and pretty good benefits. Im not sure what to do...any good advice out there?
