Story villian as a god?

I've come up with many ideas for fantasy stories, but before I even considered writing, I came up with a trilogy story dealing with a normal boy ending up in a fantasy place and needing to find a way to stop the villian to save everyone. The only thing is, the villian is a god and the end result wouldn't necessarily have the god being destroyed. The people who lived in the land were divided on their beliefs and trust in the god morally. Some feeling he/she is doing things the wrong way, others, honoring him/her. There's a villianous quality to the god and I do now how the boy will deal with him/her in the end. The only thing that kind of paused me was the fact that the villian was a god. It feels a little controversy, but that is how the story goes. I do know there are other stories that do invoke such religious ideas in their tales.

My husband and I have been "trying" to have a baby for a year and a half now. A lot of women I talk to tell me it took them 3 years until they conceived. The only problem is I think about it everyday and I just found out that another one of my friends are pregnant. All of my friends have been able to have kids but me. I am afraid the Government of China is pretty wierded out about Tibet and walking across the boarder is not permitted. There is a special visa just for Tibet seperate from your China visa. The visa allows you to go to Tibet only on group tours. You can go with a group then wonder off on our own but you must go with them across the boarder. You must either fly in from Chengdu or take the train. For some reason it is illegal for foreigners to go by raod to Tibet from inside China. From Kathmandu you can fly in for sure. Possibly take a bus. If that's true then take the bus from the closest point to the Chinese boarder to the closest point on the other side. You'll not be able to walk that part, but you would still be walking a hell of a long way.

Well learn not to take what others say to you at heart, there are a lot of rude people out there, and if you are always thinking about what they have said to you, well then it is a problem, cause it is distrubing your normal life, plus sounds like it is giveing you low self esteem which you do not need on top of it. So you really need to let things go that people you do not know say to you, cause they are just rude, and enjoy seeing if they can upset others. Yes it is a bad habit, actually i think it is more then just a habit, cause it is effecting your life so much. So you need to learn not to pay attention to their remarks, yes i know that is a hard one. Or if you can not do it alone you need to get a therapist, and work on this problem with him/her. Cause if you do not it will just turn into a bigger problem, and disturb your way of liveing even more. That you do not need. And if other issues comes up, work on them too, that way you can get them all out of the way. Stuffing is not good, so if you are stuffing your feelings, and have been for a long time, well you need to get help with that, cause that is a lot of stress locked up inside of you, and you just do not know how it is going to come out, so please get help , and get feeling better, and build that self esteem of yours , cause you are worth it.

Could I have minor dyslexia?

I looked up some of the symptoms and I have some of them but not all of them. I have trouble in math, and it said that a dyslexic may have trouble grasping anything algebra or higher, and that's very true for me. I count my fingers and have to use calculators for the simplest adding or subtracting tasks. It also said day dreaming and being easily distracted happens and that's true. I gets my lefts and rights mixed up terribly bad. I often bet my "w"'s "m"'s "p"'s "b"'s and even 6's mixed up. i get frustrated easily with myself. i have trouble reading out loud and i get writers block very quickly and easily. my strength is art, which is something dyslexics are strong at, and many of the careers i've considered were listed as ones dyslexics usually choose. it also says that you might order of directions mixed up, as i do. often. sometimes i find it easier to do a worksheet from the bottom up. i have a pretty hard time reading out loud, but i read very well in my head. so could i be dyslexic or am i just human?

Who can help me with my hair-dye situation?

They have about 80 calories in them, where as most fruits would have around 30. However, a 100 cal pack of a snack (chips or something sweet) would have more calories, and nothing nutritional in them. A banana would be fine for a snack, but maybe not everyday? You could try other fruits and have the banana with breakfast or as a snack a couple a days a week, that would be fine.

A good point. Jordan Shipley seems to be the heart and soul of the Longhorns. He gives 100% on every play, but Colt does, too. my baby is 8 1/2 months old and she doesn't really say consonants yet. i know a lot of babies her age and they are all saying "b", "v", and "d" as well as strings of "ba ba ba" and my daughter only says "ahhhhhhhh". she clearly has a desire to speak but i only get that one "ah" note and then a few, gutteral, throaty sounds in addition. i talk to her and read to her all of the time. she did have her hearing checked at three months and the results of that test were fine. i am just nervous that since there are no audible consonants as of yet, this is an indication of a problem with her speech. it would put my mind at ease and help me be more patient if i knew that, all in good time, she will speak normally. thank you...

i think your mom needs more education on how to control her hypoglycemic episodes. there is no reason she should be going that low that often. she really needs to get a handle on her situation. i would spend the 7,000 on visiting a nurse educator instead of a dog because the dog won't be able to teach her how to properly use insulin and take care of herself. for example, she should know that if you're sensitive to insulin, then you shouldn't take as much. maybe she's not even a t1 after all.

Kitten retches, nothing comes up?

I have two seven week old kittens. I know they might be too young to have left the mother, but I've heard that they are all right at this age. Last night around near midnight, Posha, one of the boys, went into his litter box (what a good BOY) and started crying, and then he started retching like cats do when they need to throw up. But nothing came up. I wanna say either he didn't WANT to throw up, he was dry heaving (he had just eaten so maybe not), or perhaps it didn't come up. My mom thinks it could be that he ate too fast/didn't chew a piece and maybe it got stuck. We grind Purina kitten chow in a coffee grinder (we cleaned it) and then moisten it with a little water. It's not a hairball, I'm almost positive. I'm worried and want to get their shots, but they can't have them for another week. The vet said not until 8 weeks. Finally, at 7:30 this morning, he retched like that again, but this time he look as if he was chewing something or trying to flick hair off his tongue. We heard that they can just be getting used to not nursing, eating too fast, or geting used to eating. Does anyone have any ideas? I changed out the oil, spark plug, and took the carburetor out and cleaned all of it. It starts sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. When it does start, it may turn off unless you give it gas or very few times it will stay on but ride a little rough. I know that you should let the carburetor warm up and stuff, I have taken the air filter out too and cleaned that as well. I don't know what else to do. I mess with the throttle body sometimes for it to stay on but I don't like running it on full throttle and even that sometimes don't work. Any Suggestion?

Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis?

My mother was diagnosed with Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis many years ago, and has been off and on steroids for years. I quit being friends w/my best friend b/c she always does things to let me down. We were friends for 3.5 years. She would always do whatever she wanted & expect me to still be there. I got cancer & had surgery in April of this year. I worked through an excruciating 6 months of chemotherapy. I am 6'5-6'6ish. I am completely sick and tired of being the height that I am. I absolutely hate it when people say "How tall are you" "You're tall" "How's the weather up there?" or "Have you grown?" because I've heard every one of those questions at least five hundred times in the last two years. I feel so awkward with my height as well. Whether it be walking around in public, in the comfort of my own home, or with my girlfriend, I feel too tall and so out of place. I never see anyone who's taller than me. What's worse is that, I can't fit into some basements even and have to duck for doorways so often. I find myself getting hungrier than I used to because I'm so tall. Because I am larger than other people and I have a wicked metabolism (I'm something like 170lbs). I get so hungry when people serve me the same portions as the guy who is 5'7 right beside me. I used to love camp, but now I'm ruing it because they ration food, and I know it won't be enough. I can't go on the Middle East Study Tour that my school is going to take us on because I'm too tall. I won't fit in the beds, the bathrooms, and the basic commodities won't be big enough. I feel so out of place with my friends. The only guy who can somewhat empathize with me is my 6'0 friend. But even that isn't a consolation. I'm always looking down or even over people and I even had to order a customized school uniform to fit my length and size. While we're on the topic of clothes: it constantly seems like just because people are tall, manufacturers think they're obese. I'm skinny. I have to run around the shower to get wet. Honestly, I can never find clothes that fit. They're either too short or to baggy. Jeans are a pain to search for and don't get me started on shoe sizes. People say "You're a giant" "You're too tall" "Stop growing" and I honestly feel like crying every time I heard that or any comment related to my height. People don't understand how offensive it is to say that to me. I don't tell them either because people see me as the happy-go-lucky guy who is always nice. I can't stand being this tall. People see me as a freak show and I feel like a freak show. I'm 15, turning 16 in January. I'm in Grade 10 and I'm in good physically condition if any of those facts help. Does anyone know of methods or techniques that will allow me to become shorter? I've heard tea and soft drinks help, but further research denounced those claims. Apparently lifting weights above your head helps, but I don't want to permanently damage and hinder my spine. Is there a food or beverage that actually helps? I would even go for surgery or an operation to help. If you do know of a surgery or operation that would help, please don't tell me, show me a link or a URL. Please don't say "you should be thankful you're that tall" or "accept the gifts that God has given you" It just makes me feel worse. I'm staring to drive as well and I can barely fit into the care and the head rest doesn't go up high enough for me. I try to retain good posture, however it's hard when you always have to look down. I am forced to sit in the back row of everything or else I have to slouch way down in my sit. Otherwise people make obnoxious comments without thinking of my feeling. e.g. "Wow. Why did I have to sit behind the tall guy" or "Can you shove over?" It's such a burden to have to be this tall. I'm really giving into depression right now and I just can't stand it anymore. Dogs and cats getting along?

I would leave these two to sort things out. Cats have an amazing way of defending themselves against dogs. They are way faster and agile, not to mention their claws and teeth are quite formidable weapons as well. The pup will learn its limits with the cat and the cat can't really cause damage (other than superficial) to the pup. If you interfere with their actions they may not learn to get along with each other.

How can I console my sweetheart??

I was in a similar situation with my boyfriend. I just reminded him that I am always here for him. There were nights I would go over to his house and we would just sit there with me holding him. He may not open up about it because it is definately a hard time for him so don't pressure him too. In due time if he wants to he will open up to you. Really the only thing for you to say to him is that you are there for him. Just be there for him whenever he needs to you to be...this will make him feel better!

well you can read about "averages" on different websites and you are right there is a wide range. i have taken child development cles and have a 2 yr old so i will give you my take---at 12-14 months of age most children start to walk/ those who mastered walking earlier, start to run, they can throw a ball, the can kick a ball. if theyre visual system is in tact(no eye turns, no excessive refractive errors) then their eye hand coordination will also be good. My son at 14 months-- i never gave him a golf stick so i cant say in those terms but he would be able to draw a cirle where i told him to and could stick a skinny straw into a skinny straw hole(eg those small juicy juice boxes) --that shows excellent eye hand coordination. if you test ur childs ability to do that--that shows he has good fine motor skills AND good eye hand coordination.

It's extremely unlikely you will break your knuckles like that, even if the are larger than an average persons knuckles. The only real risk of having larger knuckles is they are easier to graze and cut on things while you are doing work, like slipping with a spanner.

Kidney problem.......?

I have had kidney infections all my life and since I don't insurance I have never been able to find the real cause for these infections. The worse one I have had was when I was 15, I had a high fever, vomiting, I couldn't even hold down water, I was puking up stomach bile for hours, I can't even count how many times the janitor was cleaning up my puke (as gross as it is) well anyways, I have a son and can barley afford what I need to so even thinking about sending myself to the doctor is a lost cause. Spiderman 3?

I thought all in all it was a good movie, I even liked the sappy parts because that was an essential part of the comic story. But I was sickened by how they threw outthe comic story line in this one. Nothing was coherent to the actual story... the symbiote coming to Earth, Harry Osborne's revenge on Peter, Mary Jane's life at that point in the saga, and they killed two characters that are crucial to the Spidey story line. I can't believe Stan Lee allowed this production to go on, and that he actually did his characteristic 5 second apperance on this one Is anyone else as disappointed that I am that comic book movies are no longer the story of the hero and are now stories that just happen to have the heroes in them? I mean, it's just like writing someone's biography and flasifying it.

Behavior problem with my chihuahua..?

I have a 1 and a half year old chi...and she is very sweet and loving to me, my husband, daughter and our other 3 dogs....UNLESS she is under a blanket!! For some reason, when she is under a blanket, if the other dogs get near her...she will do this viscious little growly snappy thing...but when she looks out of the covers, it's almost like she gets up and goes to apologize to her victim. I've started taking her and sitting her down on the ground and telling her "no" when she does this..but it is not helping. Can anyone tell me a good trick to get this to stop and why is only when she's under covers?? Alot of the times, she's on my lap with a blanket over her...and I'm afraid she may bite me by accident.

I don't live in CA, so I don't know about the second thing you mentioned, but you apply to NHS through your school (usually at the end of your sopre year). You have to show that you've done a substantial amount of volunteer work before then, and demonstrate the leadership roles you had in a few of those activities. When/if you get in, there's usually a service requirement (at my school, 15 hours a semester) and a leadership requirement (either starting your own volunteer project or going to some sort of seminar). It definitely looks good on your college application, and it's not a horrible time commitment.

What is the best way to filter out the pure water from a muddy solution of water and dirt?

This is for a science (specifically Chemistry) lab we were doing. Our teacher brought out a beaker with a muddy mix of water and dirt, telling us to try and seperate the dirt from water and produce as much pure water as possible. We have access to all the equipment at school, like the bunsen burners, beakers and such. He instructed us to create an original way to filter out the dirt.
