Is it fair to be mad at your boyfriend for giving you a hickey?

Is it unfair of me to get mad at my boyfriend for giving me a hickey? I mean I didn't stop him but I didn't know what he was doing either, and now I have to go to swim practice with this huge hickey on my neck.
