What are some cute back to school fashion ideas?

im going to be a senior this semester and need a "big statement" made before i graduate. my high school DOES wear uniforms, which consists of: white,red,or navy blue (black for seniors) Polo and/or on down shirts and navy blue normal tan khaki bottoms. i also decided i want to try wearing subtle makeup, i am African American and there are barely any useful makeup tips orr cute hairstyles online...
