Why does he ignore me around his friends, but not when we're alone?

i think u should leave him alone for awhile just until he gets some goals or u should encourage him maybe he doesnt think he's capable of anything.but after awhile the whole free thing is going to get old and ur gonna want more.i mean if he cant talk of interesting things with him because they're over his head where's the excitement. u cant have a serious convo with somebody who doest know about serious issues
